Several members of the ClearBridge Client Solutions Group recently attended VMware Explore 2025. The week was full of strategic discussions, hands-on learning, and relationship-building across the ClearBridge and VMware by Broadcom ecosystems.

Key takeaways from the ClearBridge team:

  • Leadership Vision – Conversations with VMware leadership reinforced ClearBridge’s visibility. They confirmed that we understand VMware’s focus under Broadcom: simplify the portfolio of their customer base, accelerate value, and deliver outcomes in high-demand environments, as a trusted Broadcom partner.
  • VCF 9.0 in Action – Live sessions showcased significant advancements in artificial intelligence, automation, scalability, and deployment flexibility. During the event, one of our customers committed to fast-tracking their upgrade to VCF 9.0, with a go-live date of September 15, 2025. We have a ClearBridge Senior Project Manager overseeing the delivery of this quick-turn effort.
  • Customer Conversations – Productive discussions between ClearBridge team members and other organizations highlighted how VMware’s evolving capabilities can directly support mission-critical objectives.
  • Stronger Together – Explore 2025 was an excellent opportunity for the team to connect with peers and partners, to align on how the group continues delivering value.

Here is a summary of some of the technical announcements made at Explore:

  • Broadcom and Canonical formed a partnership for secure, modern app development
  • Broadcom expanded AMD and NVIDIA collaborations for AI adoption purposes
  • Innovations were made with VMware Avi Load Balancer to simplify app delivery
  • New vSAN native S3 object storage in VCF
  • Focus on Agentic AI workloads – it was announced that VMware vDefend will strengthen its focus to secure private cloud workloads further, and two ClearBridge customers spoke on stage and provided examples of how vDefend helped their businesses.

Attending VMware Explore 2025 offered more than just a look at what’s next – it was a chance for ClearBridge to engage directly with VMware and Broadcom leadership to turn strategy into action. We look forward to growing our practice and helping our clients succeed with VMware.
