Our client required an experienced Vulnerability Management Engineer who could work onsite, take ownership of the vulnerability lifecycle, and improve detection, response, and remediation across network operations, without disrupting critical service delivery.
Solution
ClearBridge provided a Vulnerability Management Engineer who led efforts to modernize and operationalize the client’s vulnerability management and security operations capabilities.
Key contributions included:
- Designing and implementing vulnerability management infrastructure and processes using Qualys and Tenable/Nessus
- Enhancing network security through optimized configurations of Palo Alto firewalls and load balancing technologies
- Correlating security-relevant system and application logs to improve alerting and threat detection
- Leading the security incident response lifecycle, including coordination of countermeasures and remediation
- Analyzing and refining existing security logic to improve threat detection and response efficiency
