Our client, located in New York, New York, is currently in need of a VMware NSX /VCF Consulting Architect for a three week contract with strong potential for extensions. The consultant will work remotely to support the architecture design and deployment of NSX technologies within large-scale VCF 9x environments covering 30k hosts and over 200k VMs, focusing on complex NSX networking and physical network integration. The Architect will focus on NSX design for VCF 9x, NSX edge nodes, routing for VCF, network design flow diagrams, VCF network overview, network allocations for VI workload domains, vDS design, physical network design, connectivity & network settings, VLANs and Subnets, and access port network settings.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience architecting complex NSX designs within complex, large-scale Enterprise VCF environments
- Strong consultative skills
- Experience with design and deploy of NSX within the VCF 9x environment
- Significant networking background and experience, i.e., routing, network allocations, network connectivity & settings, VLANs and Subnets, and access port network settings
Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
- VCF 9x Architect certification strongly preferred
