Our client, a large systems integrator, is looking to hire a Senior VCF Operations Consultant for a 12-month remote contract. The consultant will be asked to manage, maintain, and optimize the client’s enterprise VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment. The primary focus of this role is day-to-day operational excellence, workload domain management, and ensuring high availability across the SDDC stack. The consultant will be responsible for lifecycle management, performance monitoring, and rapid troubleshooting of complex infrastructure issues.
The consultant will serve as point person for Operations, bridging the gap between traditional operations and automated cloud infrastructure to keep our VCF stack secure, compliant, and highly available.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of core VMware systems administration experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on operations experience in a production VCF environment.
- Strong hands-on experience using VMware Operations and Logs to manage enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Strong competency in SDDC Manager, vSphere/vCenter, and vSAN troubleshooting.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $85-$100 per hour
