TS/SCI CI Poly Systems Administrator

Our client, a large government contractor with offices in Linthicum, MD, is in need of a TS/SCI CI Poly Systems Administrator to work onsite for a 6-month contract to hire position. The Systems Administrator will support our client’s federal customers in special access programs. The Systems Administrator will be supporting a mix of Linux and Windows servers. Duties will include maintaining the operation of the entire computer infrastructure on the program including systems, software, security, end user support, and networks. The Systems Administrator will deploy STIGS, perform vulnerability remediation with RMF and JSIG Standards, and use Splunk to maintain indexers. The Systems Administrator will build VMs from scratch. Or client is currently migrating/upgrading RHEL 7.9 systems to RHEL 8.x and is creating a new environment that requires both Windows/Linux experience. 

 

Required Skills

    • Master’s Degree with 3 years of IT experience; OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of IT experience; OR an Associate’s Degree with 7 years of IT experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of IT experience is required
    • Must have a DOD 8570 IAT Level II, or higher, certification (example: Security+ CE); maintaining the required certification will be a condition of continued employment
    • Must have Linux Operating Systems support experience
      • Linux Workstation and Server management experience is required
    • Windows server management experience
    • Windows AD, LDAP, VMWare, and knowledge of SAN storage systems
    • Experience operating under, and managing systems within, NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments
    • Candidates must have a current DOD Top Secret level security clearance, to include SCI access and a recent CI Polygraph [adjudicated within the last 5 years]
    • Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment
    • Understanding of basic networking, including subnets, routing, and VLANs; Cisco experience and/or certification
