Technical Support Engineer

Our client, a large telecom provider with locations across the US, is in need of a Technical Support Engineer for a 3 month contract opportunity with chance of extension.  The consultant will work remotely to provide technical support for the Avaya Aura platform.  The consultant will provide tier 2-3 troubleshooting for Aura issues, the infrastructure it runs on (Windows, Red Hat and VMware vSphere systems) and overall performance.   

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience troubleshooting and supporting the Avaya Aura Stack
  • Ability to deliver tier 2-3 support for application investigation, resolutions and escalation
  • Strong understanding of cloud integration, security best practices and performance tuning
  • Extensive experience supporting Windows Server, Red Hat Linux and VMware Vsphere in a cloud or hybrid environment
  • Experience conducting security and performance reviews, ensuring the environment remains compliant, optimized and resilient. 

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with FedRAMP compliance
  • Any Aura certifications
