Our client, a large telecom provider with locations across the US, is in need of a Technical Support Engineer for a 3 month contract opportunity with chance of extension. The consultant will work remotely to provide technical support for the Avaya Aura platform. The consultant will provide tier 2-3 troubleshooting for Aura issues, the infrastructure it runs on (Windows, Red Hat and VMware vSphere systems) and overall performance.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience troubleshooting and supporting the Avaya Aura Stack
- Ability to deliver tier 2-3 support for application investigation, resolutions and escalation
- Strong understanding of cloud integration, security best practices and performance tuning
- Extensive experience supporting Windows Server, Red Hat Linux and VMware Vsphere in a cloud or hybrid environment
- Experience conducting security and performance reviews, ensuring the environment remains compliant, optimized and resilient.
Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with FedRAMP compliance
- Any Aura certifications
