Our client, located in San Jose, CA, is in need of a Technical Architect for an initial 6 month contract. The Technical Architect will work remotely and play a key role in designing and implementing HPE GreenLake Cloud Solutions; creating cloud infrastructure designs using HPE’s private cloud software and infrastructure products (HPE Morpheus, HPE VM Essentials, HPE OpsRamp, HPE ProLiant Servers, HPE Alletra storage, HPE Aruba networking), creating deployment / best practice guides, developing and maintaining architectural documentation and supporting the deployment of cloud solutions and mentoring team members providing technical support during project implementation phases.
Required Skills:
- 8 – 10 years of overall experience with a Bachelors degree.
- Prior experience supporting the design and implementation of cloud architecture solutions with the focus being HPE private cloud product suite.
- Experience supporting the design and implementation of additional private cloud offerings to include virtualization (VMware NSX, VCF ), SDN, Microsegmentation, networking, PVLAN, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks like Ansible and Terraform.
- Proficiency with PowerShell and / or Python scripting languages for automation tasks.
Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of KVM (Kernal-based Virtual Machine).
- Certifications such as VMware VCDX or any level of AWS / Azure certification.
