Our client, an aerospace and defense company located in Patuxent River, MD, is in need of a Sr. Top Secret Cleared (SCI eligible) Linux Systems Administrator for an initial one year contract with high likelihood of extension. The Linux Systems Administrator will work onsite daily, joining a team working on the development and improvement of cutting-edge technologies used by the U.S. Military and Intelligence Communities. The Systems Administrator will install, configure, maintain, and administer both a physical and virtual Linux based server/client infrastructure, perform flaw remediation and system patching, and manage accounts, rights, and access to these systems. The Administrators will use RedHat RHEL 7, and Oracle Solaris 10/11.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience administering Linux/UNIX servers
- Hands-on experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters
- Experience using RHEL 7
- Experience using Solaris
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance (must be SCI eligible)
- College Degree (STEM preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in an enhanced security environment
- Experience with the JSIG/RMF, JAFAN 6/3, or DCID 6/3
