Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of a Secret cleared Windows Systems Administrator for an initial 12 month contract onsite in Southeast Washington, DC. The Windows Systems Administrator will be a part of the platform services team consisting of 10 Admins, providing tier 2 and tier 3 support for the entire infrastructure which includes Windows and Linux Systems, VMware, MS SQL and Oracle databases and associated data center network capabilities such as load balancing and 802.1 policy enforcement.
Required Skills:
- Must have an active Secret clearance and a bachelors degree.
- 2 – 4 years of experience of administration, troubleshooting, configuration of Windows and VMware.
- Experience administering Active Directory, classified and unclassified.
- Experience with Windows DNS and DHCP.
- PowerShell experience.
- Prior experience using ServiceNow or Remedy for ticket resolution.
- Prior experience working with SCCM and / or MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager).
Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with DoD patch management and vulnerability remediation (process and tools) to include assured compliance assessment solution reporting (ACAS).
- Experience with MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit).
- Experience supporting VMware vCenter for server management tasks.
