Our client, an aerospace and defense company located in Patuxent River, MD, is seeking up to seven SAP Subject Matter Experts (SME IV) for an initial one-year contract with strong potential for extension. The SAP SME’s will be working onsite daily, often in a SCIF environment, supporting a major SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementation. The SMEs will work closely with the Program Manager and customer to provide senior-level expertise supporting SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementation, conduct detailed system analysis and ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards, develop and maintain documentation related to SAP architecture, system configuration, and processes, and conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team competency in SAP solutions.
Required Skills:
- 15+ years of professional experience supporting enterprise systems, with extensive experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong financial background, including experience with federal/DoD financial systems and ERPs.
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Proven knowledge of DoD frameworks, compliance standards, and federal acquisition regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM or related field preferred).
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience supporting NAVAIR highly preferred; broader U.S. Navy experience may be acceptable.
- Experience leading transformation initiatives in high-security DoD environments.
- Proficiency with process mapping and modeling tools.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $81 – $117 per hour
