Our client, a large government integrator located in Tampa, FL, is looking to hire a Secret cleared Configuration Analyst for a 12-month onsite contract. The consultant will provide configuration management support to assigned projects for a government client. The consultant will serve as local Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Configuration Management, Baseline Management for supporting external requests, data calls, and Contract Deliverables (CDRL) reporting to the Program Office.
The consultant will manage the local Definitive Media Library and processes requests to change the authorized product list (APL). The consultant will process service request and change request tickets using ServiceNow or similar ticketing tool. The Configuration Analyst will build and design dashboards and reports in response to customer for information (RFIs) using Excel, Access, Tableau and ServiceNow.
The consultant will also complete monthly Configuration Management audits as well as provide guidance and work leadership to configuration team members. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations, and system updates. The consultant will also update existing configuration databases and develop configuration and data management documentation based on program requirements.
Required Skills:
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance
- 3+ years of Configuration Management experience required.
- 5+ years of federal/government/DoD or industry experience
- Experience and knowledge of ITIL principles, methods, techniques, and best practices to configuration management.
- Bachelor’s Degree
Desired Skills:
- ITIL V4 Foundation or possess equivalent higher certifications.
- Experience supporting multinational customers preferred.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Utilizing Tableau, JIRA, ServiceNow, SCSM, Access or other tools used to manage and control daily work and process improvement initiatives.
- Using Pivot tables in Excel.
