Our client, a large professional services firm, is looking to hire a Resident Engineer for a 6 month contract. The consultant will work remotely performing structured execution of test plans to validate hardware, firmware and system configurations. They will identify and document results, including potential failures and areas of improvement. They will also be responsible for firmware testing, validating updates introduced to the lab, validating configurations for product updates, and supporting on going certification processes.
Required Skills:
- Cisco UCS administration and updates
- Dell PowerEdge configuring, maintaining, and validating servers and firmware updates
- Knowledge of enterprise storage solutions, specifically Dell PowerMax

- Experience with virtualization technologies
