Project Manager

Our client, a Wireless Systems Integrator, located in Florida, needs 3 Project Managers to work out of their Tampa Bay, Vero Beach, Daytona Beach, Doral, West Palm Beach, or Rockledge area locations.  The Project Manager will work onsite for the first 2-4 weeks, then work remotely with approximately 25% travel. The Project Manager will be supporting communication systems implementations for customers.

Required Skills:

  • Project Management Experience: Minimum of 4 years managing telecommunications infrastructure, public safety systems integration, or radio communication projects valued at $2 million or more.
  • Previous experience working with a state or local government.  
  • Certification: Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering, construction management, or related technical field.
  • Technical Proficiency: MS Project and/or TeamGantt, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Customer Engagement: Demonstrated experience working with external customers, including delivering professional presentations.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Location: Candidate must reside in Florida.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with P25 Radio Systems
  • Experience with L3Harris Equipment
  • Previous experience in Digital RF and Microwave systems.
  • Knowledge of radio backhaul and telecommunications infrastructure
  • Infrastructure construction including towers and equipment shelters
  •  Body-worn camera solution deployments
  •  Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system implementations
  •  Records Management Systems (RMS) deployments
  •  Vehicle-based communications and video system installations
