Our client, a Leading telecommuncations company is in need of a Principal VoIP Engineer. The Principal VoIP Engineer will work remotely, supporting the migration from TDM switches to Metaswitch Clusters. They will be designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IP networks and VoIP protocols.
Required Skills & Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience with Metaswitch clusters; migrations and setting up clusters
- Experience setting up VoIP protocols – heavy experience with SIP and VoIP signaling
- 10+ years experience with TDM and softswitch
- Experience with tier 3 operational support
- Experience maintaining and updating LERG
- Experience performing network translations
- Experience with software buildups and integrations – familiarity with API development and provisioning
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting

The expected base salary range for this role is: $130,000-$150,000 per year
