Our client, a supply chain strategy and logistics consulting firm, is currently in need of a Power BI Developer for a 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension. The Power BI Developer will be responsible for taking business requirements and building out Power BI capabilities.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of IT and over 5 years of Power BI development experience. Including creating dashboards and interactive visual reports
- 4+ years of VBA programming in Excel
- 3+ years of Python experience
- Previous experience working with a government agency
- Able To Obtain Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Ability to work 3 days a week onsite in Washington DC
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of ETL procedures
- Previous experience owning reporting function for program
- Experience with Report Builder, TSQL, Power Query, and MDX
- Understanding of row-level data security
- Power BI Certification
- Experience writing SQL queries
