Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of an Instructional Designer for an initial 2 month remote contract supporting a large government EHR modernization effort. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, updating and maintaining computer based courses and supplemental training materials, using established style guide for training content creating, writing EHR scripts from ITL training for video and audio content and using Rapid Development Software (Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate) to create CBT scripts and develop interactive computer based courseware.
Required Skills:
- 4 years of overall experience and a bachelors degree (preferably in education, instructional design, instructional technology, etc).
- Must be a US Citizen able to pass a public trust.
- Must have experience developing and delivering Cerner EHR training coursed to a variety of audiences.
- Prior experience authoring instructional content using Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Vyond, WellSaid, etc.
- Experience using Microsoft word templates.
- Familiarity with ADA Section 508c accessibility requirements.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of converting training materials into scripts for video and audio content.
