Our client, located in Houston, TX, is currently in need of a Dell PowerEdge Compute Systems Architect for a 1 year contract. The consultant will work onsite to lead the design, integration and optimization of PowerEdge server solutions and architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize Dell PowerEdge server solutions to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop tailored solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with PowerEdge servers and related systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles for PowerEdge solutions
- Provide expert-level support and guidance to customers and internal teams on PowerEdge server configurations and troubleshooting
- Stay up-to-date with the latest PowerEdge technologies and advancements, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and satisfaction
Required Skills:
- Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX
- 8+ years of experience in server architecture and design
- Experience with PowerEdge solutions design
- In-depth knowledge of PowerEdge server hardware, software, networking and associated tools
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, including virtualization with VMware and containerization technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
