Our client, a hospital and healthcare partner located in Richmond, VA, is looking to hire an IT Unified Communications Manager for a full-time role. The Manager will be working a hybrid schedule and must be onsite 3 days per week. The Manager of Unified Communication oversees the health system’s clinical communication systems, including Ascom, Vocera, Maas360, Intune,?cell phone device and plan management, alert, and alarm integration engines and Rauland integration, video teleconferencing, and telehealth support.
This role will help develop and implement the strategies set forth by the clinical communications steering committee, focusing on integrated communications, and creating workflows integrated with existing or new clinical communication technologies. The Manager of Unified Communication provides leadership and direction for the mobility services and video teleconferencing teams in addition to planning and managing all clinical communication technology platforms.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. (Preferred Education is Master’s Degree)
- 7+ years of total IT experience
- 2+ years’ manager and supervisory experience
- 2+ years’ experience working with clinical systems, including as much of the following; Ascom, Vocera, Maas360, Intune,?cell phone device and plan management, alert, and alarm integration engines and Rauland integration, video teleconferencing, and telehealth support
- Strong communication skills
