Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of an AWS Developer for an initial 6 month remote contract. The AWS Developer will be working within our customers Innovation Lab team which is responsible for developing POCs and use cases for new and existing customers. The AWS Developer will be primarily responsible for writing backend code using AWS services as well as making recommendations to customers on AWS application related tools and services.
Required Skills:
- 5 – 7 years of application development / engineering experience, specifically around AWS development.
- Extensive experience with the development and testing of AWS services, to include, Bedrock, Comprehend, Lambda, EKS, ECS, API Gateway, etc.
- REST API development experience.
- Scripting experience, specifically with Bash Shell, YAML and / or JSON.
- Some level of containerization experience, specifically around Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience building and deploying UI applications, primarily using Streamlit, as well as Angular and / or Node.JS.
Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
- Some level of BPM Development experience.
- FHIR experience, specifically someone who understands how to develop capabilities to format and store FHIR data into databases.
- Experience supporting Federal programs, specifically Federal Health experience around CMS, FDA, CDC, HRSA, NIH within an existing cloud environment.
- Databricks experience for cloud native programming.
