Our client, located in Columbus, OH, is currently in need of a PowerFlex Implementation Specialist for a 12 month contract. The consultant will work onsite in support of PowerFlex implementation and support as well as integration with OpenShift and VMware virtualization.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day monitoring of the PowerFlex infrastructure
- Opening and supporting all Dell support tickets; taking the lead in working with support to drive resolution
- Assisting with general VMware vSphere administration tasks (permissions, standard VM management, etc.)
- Assisting with PowerFlex Manager administration
- Assisting with remediation and optimization efforts
- Articulating and recommending best practices within the PowerFlex environment
Required Skills:
- Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- PowerFlex implementation and support
- PowerFlex advanced operational/troubleshooting skills
- Strong Python scripting skills for automation
- Experience with VMware and OpenShift virtualization
- Knowledge of Linux fundamentals and essentials
- Ability to install Ubuntu OS

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $45 – 60 per hour
