Our client, a professional services firm located in Dallas, TX, is looking to hire Data Center Facilities Architect (DCFA) for a 6-month onsite contract. The engineer is needed to support/partner with the customer’s data center managers to ensure all facility duties are run accordingly. A DCFA should be familiar with data center design, floor space and rack elevations and electrical, environmental, and mechanical equipment in the data center. (HVAC, UPS, and Generators)
Required Skills:
- 10+ years’ experience in designing and managing data centers and critical facilities
- Proven experience managing and improving reliability and security in large scale, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems
- Extensive experience with Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS)
- Strong understanding of DR and HA strategies
- Understanding of the design and implementation of redundant systems
