Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of 4 CDM Analysts for initial 6 week remote contracts. The CDM Analysts will be supporting an enterprise DoD EHR modernization effort. They will primarily be responsible for reviewing legacy CDM short and long descriptions to identify potential matches to industry standards for Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes. They will work closely with customer leads to receive assignments with daily and / or weekly production goals. The proposed codes will then be reviewed by the customer audit committees for validation or feedback for the CDM Analysts to rework.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
- US Citizen who is public trust eligible.
- Advanced knowledge of CDM structures and coding rules with effective research skills to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidance.
- CPC (certified professional coder) and / or CCS (certified coding specialist) certifications.
- 2 years of experience with Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding Systems (HCPCS) coding and charging practices.
- Must be able to perform Excel functions such as Logic, Concat, Lookup and Reference.
