Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of a TS / SCI cleared Network Technician for an initial 12 month contract working onsite at Scott Air Force Base in St. Claire County, IL. The Network Technician will be supporting an enterprise task order providing global secure voice, video and data communications for the command and control structure of the US Armed Forces. The Network Technician will be responsible for providing day to day troubleshooting of the customers Juniper, Cisco and SolarWinds environment.
Required Skills:
- Candidates must have an active TS / SCI clearance.
- At least 3 years of overall experience, preferably with 2 of those years working as a Network Technician / Admin.
- Experience providing ticket support and troubleshooting around Juniper and Cisco route / switch and SolarWinds.
- Experience with ServiceNow to support trouble tickets.
- LAN troubleshooting experience.
- Must be able to work a flexible shift schedule with rotating shifts to include:
- 7 am – 3 pm CST
- 3 pm – 11 pm CST
- 11 pm – 7 am CST
Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience troubleshooting Oracle SBC’s (Session Border Controllers).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate Certification.
