Our client, a systems integrator located in San Antonio, TX, is looking to hire a Senior VMware VCF Consultant for a 3-month hybrid contract. The consultant will serve as a lead for deployment and optimization of the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment. This position requires immediate, senior-level expertise to drive critical infrastructure milestones.
The consultant will implement VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) full-stack solutions, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria Suite. The consultant will lead lifecycle management, patching, and workload migrations within the VCF ecosystem as well as diagnose complex performance, networking, and storage issues to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. The Sr Consultant will also provide detailed configuration runbooks, and knowledge transfer to the internal client team.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of enterprise VMware experience, with a heavy focus on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) deployments.
- Deep expertise in SDDC Manager, NSX-T/NSX-V networking, vSAN configuration, and Aria Automation/Operations.
- VCP-NV / VCIX or VCDX certifications are highly preferred.
- Must be able to work 2-3 day per week onsite in San Antonio, TX for the duration of the contract.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $80 – $100 per hour
