Our client, a large professional services firm, is looking to hire a Sr Technical Consultant – Network Security for a remote 6-month contract. There is the potential for conversion to a direct hire after the initial contract. The consultant will provide hands-on architecture, engineering, and consulting support across multiple projects. The consultant will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise firewalls, SASE frameworks, and advanced application delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of network security and traffic management solutions from design through implementation.
- Architect and deploy Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls and Prisma solutions (SD-WAN and Prisma Access).
- Design and configure F5 application delivery controllers, focusing on high availability, global traffic routing, and load balancing.
- Partner with enterprise customers to evaluate architecture requirements, perform technical migrations, and troubleshoot complex network security challenges.
Required Skills:
- Proven, hands-on design, architecture, and implementation experience with F5 LTM and GTM/DNS.
- Demonstrated expertise in Palo Alto NGFW design and configuration.
- Production-level implementation experience with Prisma Access and Prisma SD-WAN.
- Strong track record in customer-facing technical delivery, migration planning, and infrastructure documentation.
Desired Skills:
- Deployment experience with ZPA (Private Access) or ZIA (Internet Access).
- Experience with Cisco Secure Firewalls and Cisco Secure Access.
- Working knowledge of F5 APM, ASM, or Advanced WAF.
