Our client, a large professional services firm, is looking to hire a Sr Technical Consultant – Data Center Networking for a remote 6-month contract. There is the potential for conversion to a direct hire after the initial contract. The consultant’s primary focus will be Cisco ACI, Data Center Overlay, and Cloud Infrastructure. The consultant may be asked to travel (up to 15%).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and migrate large-scale software-defined data center fabrics.
- Architect and optimize multi-tenant enterprise environments utilizing underlay/overlay segmentation strategies.
- Act as a technical expert during client engagements, providing strategic engineering guidance and smooth project execution.
- Deliver scalable and operationally sound cloud and hybrid networking solutions.
Required Skills:
- Advanced, hands-on experience designing and managing Cisco ACI fabric architectures.
- Strong depth of knowledge in overlay concepts, BGP EVPN, and data center interconnects.
- Expert-level mastery of enterprise BGP routing configurations and troubleshooting.
- Must be open to travel up to 15%
Desired Skills
- Experience with Arista switching platforms and EOS/CloudVision.
- Hands-on familiarity with next-generation firewalls (NGFW) and security integration.
- Active CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, CCIE Data Center, or cloud networking specialty certifications.
