Our client, a leading government technology service provider located in Washington DC or Bluemont VA is in need of a Top Secret Cleared Senior Network Security Administrator on a 6 month contract to hire. The Network Security Admin will work onsite daily, and be responsible for providing tier 2 and 3 support for intrusion protection systems, COMSEC, and network equipment. The Admin will need to design optimized firewall and IPS rule structure, monitor and maintain health of all firewall/IPS, design and maintain documentation of firewall/IPS procedures and complex schematics relating to network security.
Required skills:
- 10+ years experience with systems engineering/ administration experience
- Must have the ability to design optimized firewall and IPS rule structure
- Hands on experience with Cisco ISE and IPS products
- Experience with configuration and deployment of VMware FMC
- Experience managing IPsec VPN, Site-to-Site VPN to Azure cloud
- Expertise with IPS, COMSEC (TACLANE), and network equipment
- Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain DOJ SCI
Preferred Skills
- Cisco Certifications (CNNA, CCNP)
- Cisco FMC 1000 experience
- Some COMSEC experience they are looking for (not all is required)
- Maintain inventory
- Maintain Battery expiration
- Maintain key expiration
- Re-keying TL
- Managing KEY and list devices used to transfer keys
- Familiarity with handling of COMSEC gear
- TL refresh
- Tools used to manage TL
