Our client, located in Arlington, VA, is looking to hire a Top Secret Cleared Commvault Administrator for a 6 month contract. The consultant will work onsite 5 days per week with potential for a hybrid schedule in the future to provide vital technical support for a federal client’s Commvault systems.
The consultant will perform routine administration of the Commvault environment; reviewing daily backup reports, troubleshooting failures, and improving job success rates. The consultant will also be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and documenting information about the current Commvault infrastructure and aligning customer policies and procedures with Commvault best practices.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA 5 days per week
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance
- Active DoD 8570 IAT II certification
- 2+ years’ experience providing Commvault administration
- Knowledge of Commvault best practices
- Hands-on knowledge of data and information lifecycle management, disaster recovery, and software performance tuning.
- Familiarity with hardware such as storage arrays, SANs, servers, and NAS devices.
- Experience reviewing daily backup reports, troubleshooting failures, and improving job success rates.Experience developing solutions for complex data movement challenges, including backups over WAN
