Our client, a real estate technology company, is in need of a Senior PHP Developer for a six-month contract-to-hire position. Working in a hybrid model, onsite three days/week in Miami FL, Dallas TX, or Irvine CA, the Developer is in charge of managing complex details about projects that require analyzing design requirements, as well as recommending technical solutions to make projects scalable, maintainable, and efficient. This role will also debug websites to fix mistakes in the code to make sure they are error-free for network administrators and end users. Besides analyzing code and debugging applications, the Developer also should have working knowledge of several programming languages and able to adapt to new versions of software.
This position will be owning the PHP side of a crucial enterprise application for the client that is built with custom code. An overall breakdown of effort is likely 50% working with legacy code and 50% creating new code and functionality.
Required skills:
- 8+ years’ experience as a full-stack developer
- 5+ years’ of PHP experience
- Strong background in writing CSS, Javascript, and HTML
- Must have experience accessing databases and creating new tables, specifically Oracle
- Must have experience with SOAP and REST webservices
- Experience working with APIs – Salesforce integration specifically is a plus
- Knowledge of GIT Hub cloud and Atlassian JIRA
- Proficient in using Office applications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with and helping drive near/offshore teams is a plus
