Our client, in Washington DC, is currently in need of a Program Manager for a initial 12-month contract. The Program Manager will be onsite 4 days a week in Washington DC and work remotely on Fridays. The consultant will be supporting a 10 year / multibillion modernization effort around distribution for a large government organization
Required Skills:
- 8 or more years of experience managing supply chain/building construction projects. Ideally around material handling, construction, new facility development, or electro-mechanical equipment in a consulting environment.
- Strong experience with Microsoft tools including Project and Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Strong VBA experience for reporting purposes
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain management/logistics, or related field.
- 4 days a week onsite in Washington DC
Preferred Skills
- PMP/PMI certifications
- Generating reports in Power BI
- Experience with industrial engineering
- Build out Project Schedules in MS Project
- Previous experience supporting the USPS
