Our client, located in Columbus, OH, is currently in need of a PowerFlex Implementation Specialist for a 1 year contract. The consultant will work onsite in support of the deployment, configuration and support of PowerFlex with VMware and OpenShift virtualization in a heavily automated environment (Python scripting).
Responsibilities:
- Implement and support PowerFlex solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
- Develop and maintain scripts using Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency – existing environment is heavily automated with Python
- Utilize VMware and OpenShift virtualization technologies to deploy and manage applications
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on PowerFlex implementation and usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and knowledge sharing
Required Skills:
- Ability to work onsite daily
- Ability to pass a criminal, financial background check and drug screen
- Strong PowerFlex experience
- Experience with VMware and OpenShift hypervisors
- Intermediate or better Python scripting experience
- Ability to use Python develop automation scripts cross the PowerFlex API to complete various project tasks
- Solid understanding of SAN, NAS and Object storage

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $45 – 65 per hour
