Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of 2 CA Endevor Administrators for an initial 12 month remote contract. The CA Endevor Administrators will be supporting a large Federal Health customer and will be responsible for administering the customers Endevor application to support the version control of applications in the development and validation environments. They will be responsible for creating, maintaining and deleting systems, subsystems, types, etc. and be responsible for troubleshooting user issues with the Endevor products. They will also analyze new versions for upgrade compatibility, maintain package definitions and collaborate with application projects and other administration teams.
Required Skills:
- At least 8 years of experience and a bachelors degree.
- Ideally 5 years of experience working as a CA Endevor Administrator.
- Prior experience consolidating multiple instances of Endevor.
- Experience converting CA Endevor applications to IBM DBB (Dependency Based Build).
- CA Endevor deployment experience.
- Experience with Mainframe scripting, specifically with REXX EXEC, CLIST, etc.
- Background in supporting the administration of IBM z/OS utilities.
- Experience coding and supporting applications written in COBOL.
