Our client, located in NC, is currently in need of a NetApp Engineer for a 8.5 month contract. The consultant will work primarily remote with the occasional office visit as required, as the NetApp SME for the customer in support of FAS, AFF, CVO for Azure, MetroCluster, FlexCache and BlueXP for centralized operations.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and support NetApp storage solutions tailored to business needs, including capacity planning, performance tuning and data migration
- Manage and optimize OnTap environments across AFF, FAS and CVO
- Manage replication, snap shots and data protection
- Implement and advise on FlexCache strategies to enhance performance and data locality.
- Deploy and manage Azure NetApp Files, including networking, security, and integration with Azure services (vNET, IAM).
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and operational issues in hybrid and cloud storage environments.
- Utilize NetApp BlueXP for centralized management and orchestration of Azure NetApp Files, Cloud Volumes ONTAP, and other NetApp platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of storage solutions with business and technical objectives.
- Utilize NetApp Data Infrastructure Insights for environment monitoring and reporting.
- NetApp Metro Cluster – Design, implement, and manage NetApp Metro Cluster environments.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work on a W2 basis
- Experience with NetApp AFF&FAS NAS & SAN, CVO for Azure and MetroCluster support
- Experience with FlexCache
- Experience with BlueXP
